Founded in 1969 by Mr. Ray Calleja, the company began its journey in Malta producing the original rice-based snack, Twistees. When Steve Calleja, the present Managing Director, took over the business from the late Ray Calleja, he continued to build on this strong foundation by expanding operations and introducing the Tastees brand for export markets.
